A tried and tested sleeping bag for extreme use

The Gormsson -20° is the ultimate sleeping bag for very cold conditions. It is a true classic built on well-tried technology like the snug fitting mummy shaped design and the off-set double box chamber construction, much like a brick wall, designed to keep you warm even under extreme conditions and eliminate cold spots. It has a durable nylon shell and inside the bag, the highly insulating Norguard S-PO 85 fibre filling is wrapped in a very soft nylon. Together with the integrated footbox and the new innovative 3D neck baffle with magnetic closure, heat loss is minimized without compromising comfort and the use of Velcro is avoided.

The story behind the name

Harald ”Bluetooth” Gormsson was born in 935 as the son of King Gorm the Old and Thyra Dannebod. As King of Denmark and Norway he erected the very famous Jelling stone in Denmark, where the runic inscription says: “King Harald ordered this monument made in memory of Gorm, his father, and Thyra, his mother. The Harald who ruled the whole of Denmark and Norway and converted the Danes to Christianity.”
