2 person tunnel tent
Level Opp: More spacious. Closer to nature. Easier to pitch.
Our best-in-class tunnel tent has taken a quantum leap forward with a complete redesign.
The Oppland has been the-one-to-beat for years and we keep on developing this masterpiece hiking tent. Last year, we improved the PU fabric itself – this year, we have improved everything else; components, architecture, features, openings, compatibility, ventilation… you name it. Our Oppland PU tents are no longer just the beginner’s choice – it is a true force to be reckoned with.
This is the perfect tent when looking for a compact 2-person tent without compromising on comfort or the need for space. The aerodynamic tunnel construction is outer pitched and adds great wind stability to the tent. We have increased the angle on the tunnel arch dramatically, thus giving a much bigger sense of space, especially for sitting near the walls. By adding pole-socks in one side, the Oppland PU-series is now easier than ever to pitch; one person can easily insert the poles without having to go back and forward from side to side to secure the poles in little steel rings. We have increased the height on the entrances, making it much easier to get you and your luggage in and out and also gives you a much better look out at nature from the inside. In fact, you can unzip the entire front end for a full 180º view outside. But the flexibility doesn’t end here; there are 4 different front opening modes to suit weather conditions and your personal privacy preferences. Improved tensioning and ventilation systems makes your new Oppland stand, look and feel better than ever. Inside there is plenty of room for two people with gear and lots of equipment. There are multiple storage pockets and ceiling cords – and the porch provides plenty of extra room for storage and cooking. Or it can be used as an extra living area if used with the matching footprint. The tent is constructed with aluminum poles and a strong PU rip-stop fabric, to give you a sturdy and long-lasting quality tent that be begging you for new adventures. Over and over again.

The story behind the name
Oppland is a county in Norway administered from Lillehammer – former host of the 1994 Winter Olympics and the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. The old Norse name of Upplǫnd means 'the upper countries', and Oppland is a popular tourist destination well known for skiing and winter sports. Eight of the ten highest mountains in Norway are located here including the highest two; Glittertind and Galdhøpiggen.
