Sol from Nordisk establishes a whole new set of rules with an absolutely mindblowing combination of ultra lightness, water protection and breathability.
It looks, weighs and feels like a delicate down jacket, and you would expect it to be a fragile and vulnerable piece. But the textile will resist a towering 20 meters of solid water pressure, before letting a single drop through.
Then surely it is too dense to breathe, you say? Well, guess again. This is the most breathable jacket we have ever made.
But how is it even possible? 10 years ago, we developed the ultrathin 10 denier fabric for our record-breaking Passion sleeping bag in collaboration with Toray Industries from Japan. Together, we have just made it waterproof
The membrane is just 5 micrometers thick. Yes, that is 5/1000 of a millimeter, making it the thinnest and most breathable water protection ever made. Not only will it endure 20.000 mm of solid water pressure – it will give you an equally unrivalled breathability of 20.000 MP
What does it all come down to? You. So light and so breathable that you will hardly believe you are wearing anything at all. With full protection against heavy showers and wrapped in sustainable superpowers from the 95/5 900+ Crystal Down® filling

The measurements above are body measurements. To get the correct dimensions of your body please follow the instructions below:
1. Chest
Measure the circumference horizontally around the fullest part of your chest.
Wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades and back to the front).
2. Waist
Measure the circumference horizontally once around the waist.
Your natural waistline is located above your belly button and below your rib cage.
Don´t suck in your stomach!
3. Hip
Measure the circumference horizontally once around your hips.
Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip and back to where you started.
Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks.
