Oppland 2 LW (2.0): 2 people, 1.7 kg, tunnel tent with a large porch
Oppland 3 LW (2.0): 3 people, 2.09 kg, doors on both sides

Lofoten 3-in-1

The Lofoten flysheet works on its own as a shelter, or with the Lofoten Inner Tent (225 g for one person, 250 g for two) as a double-wall tent. Both sizes pack to 22 x 11 cm.

ULW, LW or SI

ULW saves the most weight. LW uses 10D nylon with a tear strength of 8 kg and a 2,000 mm flysheet. Several models also come as SI, with 40D nylon, a 3,000 mm flysheet and a 10,000 mm floor: the Halland 2 weighs 1.48 kg as LW and 2.47 kg as SI, the Oppland 2 1.7 kg and 2.9 kg. Our trekking tent FAQ recommends LW for races and shorter trips, and SI for longer trips and expeditions.

Pack size

The Telemark 1 LW packs to 13 x 35 cm and the Telemark 2.2 LW to 15 x 35 cm. The Halland 2 LW packs to 17 x 38 cm and the Oppland 2 LW and 3 LW to around 17 x 43 cm.

Seams and pitching

Silicone-coated fabric cannot be taped, so the seams are folded four times and sewn with a cotton blend thread that swells when wet. All our LW tents are outer-pitched, so the inner tent stays dry when you pitch in rain. Halland and Oppland are tunnel tents and need to be pegged out, ideally with the narrow end into the wind.

Footprints and parts

Footprints are cut for each model, from the Lofoten 1 + 2 ULW to the Oppland 3, and protect the floor while keeping ground moisture out. Find them with pegs and guy lines under tent accessories, and pole sets under tent spare parts.
