The Torden Wood Burner Set weighs 17 kg and measures 39 x 29 x 36 cm. The firebox takes firewood up to 35 cm long, and there is room to keep wood ready under the stove. It has a glass front door and glass sides, dampers top and bottom, a convection system and an ash drawer, and stands on a pedestal base. Put a kettle or pan on top, and use the rails on the side to warm bread or dry gloves and socks. Leather gloves, the exit pipe set and a carry bag are included.
Chimney and exit
Torden Chimney Pipe Set: stainless steel, 2.6 kg, with chimney support and stabiliser. The modular build allows a roof or wall exit. Packed in a carry bag with shoulder strap.
Torden Chimney Exit: technical cotton with a fibreglass inner, sewn into the tent using the enclosed template. A flap closes the opening when the stove is not in use. Made for the Torden pipes and compatible with pipes from 60 to 90 mm in diameter, so other wood burners can be used too.
Pipe segments: the Spark Arrest Segment (180 g), the 90° Elbow Segment (170 g) and a spare set of two 31 cm segments (470 g) to build or extend the chimney.
Accessories and parts
Accessories: stainless steel wings (690 g), a fibreglass ember mat (37 x 29 cm), lined leather gloves, the stove bag and a wooden transport box with rope handles (11 kg). Spare parts: a glass set of three (one front, two sides), the grate, a base set with wooden plate and steel sides, door handles, the ashtray and the exit pipe set.
Stove in a tent
A wood burner in a Nordisk cotton tent needs a chimney exit. The tents are not treated with fire retardants, so a stove in the tent is at your own risk, and local fire rules apply. When the stove is not in use, take the pipes out and close the chimney exit with its flap, as a little rain can get in through it.
