Light and packable

Strato 2.0 and Stoke 2.0: 900+ goose down in a 7D Toray shell, the Stoke with a hood.
Sol 2.0: 900+ goose down with bonded seams and a shell rated at 20,000 mm.
Hjalte: 800+ goose down, 322 g in size L, packs into its own pocket.
Eske: 700+ down, 380 g in size L.

These work on their own on cold, dry days and as a warm layer under a shell jacket when it rains.

Down with rain shell

These use water-repellent Crystal Down® Dry 700+ under a shell with a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head. Weights in size L:

Akkarvik: 735 g, bonded seams
Nao: 870 g, a 3-in-1 with a detachable down jacket

Marton: 1.05 kg

Parkas

The Meili, 940 g in size L, uses ThinDown®, goose down in sheet form, and the Jarvi Crystal Down® Dry, both under a 10,000 mm shell. The unisex Skansholm has box-shaped down chambers and a light nylon shell.

What fill power means

Fill power, given in cuin, tells you how much space the down fills. The higher the figure, the less down a jacket needs for the same warmth, which keeps weight and pack size down. For warmth around the core with free arms, see men's down vests.

Sizes and care

Men's and unisex styles share one table in our size guide, from a 94 cm chest in S to 126 cm in 3XL.

Wash down jackets at 30 °C in a front-loading machine on a gentle programme with down detergent and no fabric softener, then, if the care label allows it, tumble dry on low with three tennis balls. Shell jackets and pants also go in at 30 °C, but not in the tumble dryer. Care & Repair in Görlitz washes, refills and repairs down jackets and replaces zips.
