How they are built
Aften, Nat and Dag are air pillows with TPU air pockets and a top in cotton jersey with a synthetic filling. You decide how much air goes in, so the pillow can follow your head and neck instead of turning into a balloon. On the Aften, the cover comes off for washing. Do not over-inflate the Dag; it should have room to mould around you.
Which to choose
For hiking and bikepacking, the Aften or Nat at around 100 g. For travel and long days in the car, the Dag. For sitting on a cold or wet stump or rock, the Alden 3.8 cushion. A pillow works best on a mat of the right thickness, see sleeping mats.
