Jen & Sim Benson are writers, photographers, parents and endurance athletes. They both grew up camping, and today it continues to play a hugely important part in their adventures, from self-sufficient multi-day fastpacking epics to mountain marathons, expeditions and family camping. They once spent more than a year living and working in a bell tent in rural Britain, with their two young children.

Jen & Sim are contributors to many outdoor magazines, including Trail, Country Walking, Runner's World and Walk, and they're gear experts for walking charity, The Ramblers. Passionate about wild places, they've worked with several conservation organisations to educate and encourage responsible, sustainable adventure. Their books include The Camping Bible, Smart Running, The Adventurer's Guide to Britain, Wild Running and 100 Great Walks with Kids. The Camping Bible, which is out in March 2024 with Bloomsbury publishing, covers everything you need to know for adventures under canvas across the world and throughout the seasons, including fastpacking, bikepacking, canoe/kayak/SUP camping and lots more.
