Presented by the Scandinavian Outdoor Group, the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards recognise the most outstanding outdoor products of the season, selected by an independent jury of experienced outdoor journalists. The awards highlight products that combine innovation, functionality, sustainability and performance under real outdoor conditions, with all Spring/Summer 2027 nominees tested and evaluated in Trentino, Italy, one of Europe’s leading mountain destinations for outdoor activity.

SIRIUS 4 EXP – Uncompromising protection for year‑round expeditions

SIRIUS 4 EXP is a four‑person expedition tent developed for continuous use in the most demanding environments. Designed for long‑duration expeditions, winter tours and high‑wind terrain, it provides a stable and weatherproof living space where teams can sleep, cook, organise equipment and recover safely over extended periods.

The construction prioritises raw strength, generous space and reliable ventilation. A non‑stretch flysheet remains taut when wet, while high‑strength aluminium poles and Nordisk’s Power Guy‑Out System create a structure engineered to resist extreme wind and snow loads without constant adjustment. Unlike many expedition tents, SIRIUS 4 EXP does not trade comfort for durability. The interior offers true living space for four people, large apsides for gear and cooking, and multiple access points that support flexibility and airflow. Ventilation is integrated into the structure to reduce condensation without compromising protection.

Inspired by Sirius, the guiding star of the northern night sky, and the legendary Danish Sirius Patrol, the tent reflects the same uncompromising demands for reliability and endurance in hostile environments.
